"Exalted and hallowed be G-d's great Name." The opening words of the Kaddish are a very clear declaration, that through reciting Kaddish a person causes G-d's very Essence to become magnified throughout all levels of creation. The power to influence all of creation is given to every individual, at all times - even to the youngest child. One example: When a young Jewish boy dons Tzitzis, they remind him not only of his obligation to follow G-d's commands, but that G-d Himself personally partners with him in every Mitzvah. And when he wears the Tzitzis publicly, all those who pass by and see them are impacted to the core of their being to unite with G-d through Torah and Mitzvos. And every good thought, word or action has the power to tip the scales of merit for the entire world toward salvation. |
