The tune itself is much older, but the staff of Camp Gan Yisroel in Michigan put the words to the tune in the summer of 1988. Reply

Even though I am not Jewish, I admire and respect your traditions, history and constancy. I would like to speak Hebrew. I shall try to learn it. In fact, I know some Hebrew expressions. My country, Peru, has a rich historical past too.

I understand that my last name (Landeo) derived from Landau, Land or Lande. That is what my grand father told me. Could it be true or it is a mistake? I did not find roots of my last name in Spain. Would you help me to clear this point?

G-d bless you and his powerful hand take care of you always.
