Parade of Good

Torah instructs Jewish children: If you see another person who is in need, whether spiritually or physically, reach out to him with love and help him get free of his predicament. Then proceed together, growing from each other’s successes.

This directive is expressed by the Lag BaOmer parade. Side-by-side, Jewish children march forth, joined by Jewish and non-Jewish military personnel, who escort the parade in a peaceful and secure fashion. Together, they express the very core of education: that every person—both Jew and non-Jew—must join forces in our world’s peaceful march toward perfection.
