Event Date: 10 Shevat 5742 - February 03, 1982
The Jewish People are “a wise and understanding people.” Nevertheless, each year, Jews from all walks of life gather to commemorate the Rebbe’s passing. Clearly, then, we are not celebrating the past, but rather, something very real, in the present. Certain things, as they age, don’t weaken, they become more potent. The Previous Rebbe’s life was dedicated to bringing spiritual and physical vitality to all those who could be reached. He taught us, as well, to constantly grow in our own service of G-d, and to be bright guiding lights to all those around us. With each passing year that we, the Rebbe’s “offspring,” continue his mission, the Rebbe’s legacy grows even stronger and more alive. |
