A Risky Business

In the late 1980s, Rabbi Shlomo Schwartz was a Chabad emissary in Los Angeles, California. He recalls having a great idea to pitch to producers in Hollywood. It was just after Rabbi Yitzchak Kogan got out of the Soviet Union, and writing a script about his story would be a great way to draw attention to the plight of the Jews that were stuck there. But after he asked the Rebbe for his blessing, all his plans were changed.
