Don’t Pass the Buck
Living Torah
Don’t Pass the BuckThe Talmud states that when two people lift a load together, they have significantly more than twice the strength of one. This is most certainly the case when the efforts of many are combined. When we all work together, our true abilities are much greater than we can ever imagine.
Don’t Pass the Buck
Disc 173, Program 689
Event Date: 18 Tishrei 5721 - October 09, 1960
The Talmud states that when two people lift a load together, they have significantly more than twice the strength of one. This is most certainly the case when the efforts of many are combined. When we all work together, our true abilities are much greater than we can ever imagine. The Tanya states that Moshiach’s arrival depends on your efforts. Just as every Jew must anticipate his arrival, says the Tanya, so must he try to bring that day closer. While Chabad emissaries have thank G-d accomplished so much, all of our accomplishments, our progress, growth and advancements, pale in comparison to what is truly possible. The key is to not pass the buck, nor question our own individual abilities. |
