A Message for the President

Rabbi Shimon Lazaroff is the regional director of Chabad-Lubavitch of Texas. In 1973, when President Zalman Shazar of Israel was in Houston, Rabbi Lazaroff was among the local Jewish leaders invited to meet him at the airport. On the Rebbe’s advice, Rabbi Lazaroff took up the invitation and reminded President Shazar of his roots in Chabad.
