Moreover, when it came to contributing materials to build the tabernacle in the desert, it was the women who were first to step up to the task, followed by the men. Today’s world contains its own “idols,” and now, just as then, it is Jewish women who must take a stand and show the right example, turning the materialism around them into a dwelling place for God. |
