Disc 12, Program 46
Event Date: 20 Av 5745 - August 07, 1985
Every morning, we thank G-d for giving us life. But there are many different levels of life. Physical growth and energy are much more apparent during childhood than in adulthood. Since body and soul are closely connected, clearly, a child’s soul, as well, develops rapidly during the formative years. Many children take advantage of the summer by going to camp where they absorb the “Torah of Life.” They should spread the message that every Jew must be “alive.” Children are a great inspiration for this, since, by nature, they cannot rest and do not allow their parents or teachers to rest either. They constantly demand new experiences and challenges. When they return home, the campers will be impervious to negative influences in the public domain. They will even be able to transform their surroundings into a G-dly place. |
