Event Date: 19 Kislev 5744 - November 25, 1983

In the early 1980s, the Rebbe began to speak on the importance of raising awareness about the Seven Laws of Noah among non-Jews.

Relating a story where the Alter Rebbe left services on Yom Kippur to help a woman in childbirth on the outskirts of town, the Rebbe explained that if the Alter Rebbe could himself break the laws of the holiest day of the year to help her, then surely every Jew can set aside time to reach out to the rest of humanity.
