A Global Mission
Disc 134, Program 533
Event Date: 28 Cheshvan 5750 - November 26, 1989
Whenever Jews gather, the Divine Presence rests upon them. How much more so here, when this gathering is for the sake of bringing G-d’s Torah to every Jew across the globe. This global mission includes the non-Jewish nations. They have the responsibility to make this world a civilized place through the Seven Noahide Laws. The Jews can assist, but the work must be carried out by the non-Jewish nations themselves. When a person knows that his actions will affect him for many years to come, he invests extra effort; and if he knows they will affect his entire life, he throws himself into it even more. How much more so, if he realizes that his deeds have an eternal impact. |
