It’s a dangerous mistake to entrust Israel’s security to surrounding Arab governments. Their leadership structure is entirely unstable.

Take Saudi Arabia, for example: One family pockets tens of billions of dollars every single year, paying off an army to protect their rule. A hundred years ago perhaps one might have thought such a situation could last... But look at Russia: A handful of farmers, with a handful of soldiers, brought down the 300 year rule of the Czars, in a revolution that utlimately engulfed all its neighboring countries.

All the lands around Saudi Arabia share the same unstable situation. In each one, there are one, two, three million citizens to each prince. So you’d think we’d treat the relationship cautiously. Instead, the US sends them arms to protect their control. It wasn’t long ago when arms were sent to Iran as well, and now they’ve fallen into the hands of those who overthrew the Shah, and some were even shipped to Russia, where they are studying them…
