Jews must “conquer” the world through increased Torah study – each person according to his own level. Every single person, even those who work for their livelihood, must increase in their personal Torah study – not only in quality, but also in quantity, even “stealing away” from the time which, according to Jewish law, may be spent on other pursuits.

This applies even more so to those who study Torah all day long, especially those who are students in Yeshiva – and even more so, those who are students in Tomchei Temimim. Of them it is demanded that they be ‘Temimim – Complete’ in their service of G-d and that they be “shining lights,” showing a living example to the students of all other Yeshivos, and also to working people, of how dedicated a Jew must be to Torah study.
