To Thanbo This is not the same tune as "Up town, downtown." The words are imposed on an older tune. Reply

the folk process involves reusing tunes for new songs. I note that it's the same tune as Uncle Moishy's "up up down down". Which came first, the Uncle Moishy tune or the Tzivos anthem? Or is the tune an older niggun than both of them? Reply
