Greetings and blessings,

I duly received your blessings for my birthday. May everyone who gives blessings be blessed with the blessings of the Holy One, blessed be He, of which it is said:1 “the increase exceeds the principal,” for a full and pleasant life amidst tranquility of the soul and tranquility of the body.

In Chassidus, there are extensive explanations of the advantages of people involved in business. In general, two aspects [are highlighted]:

a) They involve themselves in their business affairs faithfully and perform great activities in the area of charity;

b) They establish fixed times for Torah study, despite their involvement in business and commercial affairs. Even though the time they spend studying is less than “the dwellers of tents,”2 since [studying] requires them to rip themselves away from their business [affairs], it is very precious [Above].

Certainly, you also have fixed times for Torah study; not only in the study of the revealed dimension of Torah Law, but also in the study of Chassidus. May it be G‑d’s will that this will serve as a channel to bring you success in your business, and in material and spiritual good.

Enclosed is a kuntreis for Lag BaOmer that was just published.

With blessings for you and the members of your household,
