B”H, 3 Sivan, 5709

Greetings and blessings,

The proofs for the kuntreis for Shavuos arrived today. The printing and the binding won’t be completed for another day or two. Therefore I am enclosing the proofs so that you will receive them for the holiday. As per your request, I am also including the digest of the talks of Acharon Shel Pesach so that you can share them with people at large. Certainly the words of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe Shlita, regarding what you should try to accomplish with regard to the Torah and its mitzvos in the places you visit are engraved in your mind and heart and thus — as a natural consequence — will lead to results.

With blessings to receive the Torah with happiness; with greetings to all those who seek our welfare,

Rabbi Menachem Schneerson

It is certainly unnecessary to arouse [you to promote] the concept of maamad.1
