Greetings and blessings,
I would like to convey my feelings of congratulations to you for the decision of Young Israel [to direct their efforts] to saving [immigrant] children in our Holy Land. Undoubtedly, your work was largely responsible for that [decision]. You will receive a double measure of reward from heaven and more than that, “the reward for a mitzvah is a mitzvah.”1
Nevertheless, the matter of primary importance, deed — and not merely speaking about the matter,2 is still lacking.
Enclosed are several copies of a letter of mine on this subject.3 Certainly, when you will be [in Eretz Yisrael], you will surely exert yourself in this endeavor to the fullest extent possible.
Concluding with wishes for all forms of everlasting good and success in your efforts,
Rabbi Menachem Schneerson
