This letter was sent to a yeshivah student whose name was not released.

B”H, the day before Rosh Chodesh Kislev, 5711

Greetings and blessings,

..With regard to what happened to you on the Holy Day:1 Until the coming Rosh HaShanah, every day aside from Shabbosos andfestivals, you should recite kapitles 103-104 of Tehillim and study one chapter of Iggeres HaTeshuvah. What is of fundamental importance is that you carry out the ruling of the Rebbe, the Tzemach Tzedek (in his responsa, Shaar HaMiluiim, part 4, sec. 2), whostates: “You should divert your attention from this entirely and be happy and glad of heart.”

[From] one who blesses you with success in your studies and remaining attached to “the tree of life” through following the ways of G‑d as we were instructed by our Nasi, my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, הכ"מ.

With blessing,

Menachem Schneerson

You certainly saw my letter to the students of the yeshivos.2
