Greetings and blessings,

You certainly remember your visit to me when you told me about the business you were thinking to start after Yom Kippur. I would like to take the opportunity to wish you a chasimah and a g’mar chasimah tovah. This also includes [a blessing that] the new business that you will begin will enjoy great success in a material sense, as my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, הכ"מ, clarified with an adage of the Alter Rebbe:1 G‑d grants the Jews material blessings and the Jews make spirituality out of materiality.

I assume that you recite Tehillim. I would like to suggest that for the next three months you recite kapitle 712 from Tehillim every day in addition to the Tehillim that you would otherwise recite. I hope that it will be a medium for blessing.

I would also like to suggest that you ask our friend, R. Dovid [HaLevi] Edelman to establish a fixed time to study the Rebbe’s teachings together.

With greetings to your brothers who are your partners; I hope you will be able to give good tidings with regard to both general and particular matters.

With blessings for a chasimah and a g’mar chasimah tovah,

Menachem Schneerson
