Greetings and blessings,

I was happy to have received warm greetings from you through our friend R. Shlomo Aharon Kazarnofsky. He also gave me your contribution of $100 [to be used] at my discretion. I divided it among the institutions and efforts which were founded by my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, הכ"מ, for tzedakah, and for helping others in a discreet manner. Like all matters which are alive and grow, all of the activities of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, הכ"מ, are continuingand growing, with G‑d’s help. It is our hope that with the Rebbe’s blessings and with the help of all those who befriended the Rebbe in all his activities — in particular, those friends who merited to have visited him personally and were nurtured through his influence — all of the endeavors of tzedakah, proper Jewish education, and the spreading of the Torah, its mitzvos, and good deeds in general will proceed to the highest levels.

I was also happy to hear warm greetings from ... through Rabbi Kazarnofsky, particularly with regard to matters of Yiddishkeit. I hope that in addition to other matters concerned with the Torah and its mitzvos, he also devotes himself to fixed times for Torah study and, from time to time, studies the teachings of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, הכ"מ, and Chassidus in general. This contributes vitality to all those matters which each of us must carry out.

With blessings for a chasimah and a g’mar chasimah tovah for you and for your entire family,

Rabbi Menachem Schneerson
