Mr. Lawrence S. Laskey
Boston, Mass.

Greeting and Blessing:

I was pleased to be informed by Rabbi Kastel of your devoted work to strengthen and develop the Yeshiva Achei Tmimim in Dorchester.

It is surely unnecessary for me to enlarge upon the vital importance of this institution for the entire Jewish community in Boston, and of the great merit of every effort in support of such an institution. I only hope that your cooperation and assistance will be growing, for growth is the sign of every living thing, including animated interest in public work.

Knowing also of your great influence in your community, I trust that you will utilize it to the fullest extent in behalf of the Yeahiva, especially in connection with the new building. For, although undoubtedly you are working also for other good causes, I am sure that your efforts in behalf of the Yeshiva will not diminish your success elsewhere, inasmuch as our Rabbis have assured us that "one Mitzvah brings another in its train."

Moreover, inasmuch as the Jewish people everywhere, despite their dispersion, are as one whole and unified organism, every improvement in one part of it lands strength to the whole, as is the case also with the organism of the physical body. Thus, the strengthening of Jewish life in this country and in your community, strengthens Jewish life everywhere, end most of all in the Holy Land. If, in addition to this, we consider also the fact that education concerns not only the immediate young generation, but is of lasting and vital importance to future generations, it is clear that this cause commands priority.

I send you my prayerful wishes for success,

With blessing,
