A Relationship from Berlin to New York

As Rov Soloveitchik was leaving 770 - I was next to him, there was a man holding him by each arm, I believe he wasn't well - someone asked him what he thought. I never saw a human being light up with so much excited joy as the Rov as he tried to express his approval by exclaiming the names of gem stones - I don't recall exactly - but, he said something like, "like diamonds & gold!" I'll never forget that. Reply
