A friend messaged me: “If only I could go beyond myself! If only it was possible! Is it possible?”

The answer is a resounding “yes.”

Of course, it is possible. It is built into us, into our spiritual and physical DNA, truly embodied in this lowest of all worlds. The yearning to go beyond, to cleave to our source, the Essence of G‑d, and then to draw down that which is beyond, right down into this physical world in a grounded yet transformative way.

Perhaps counterintuitively, this capacity is even more present and accessible when we least expect it. In times of doubled and redoubled darkness, especially in our generation just before the coming of Moshiach, we are told that our capacity to stand firm in order to go Above is at its strongest. More so than in any other generation.

Just remembering that it is right here, accessible, within us, already empowers us.

We are almost there! We can do it! Let’s join together, transform ourselves and our world joyfully!
