Here’s a lesson from the hydrotherapy pool, courtesy of a wise physiotherapist.

When people are in pain, they feel that moving will be hurtful, so they try to protect themselves. They stay still, but this compounds the pain and the limitation.

The key to healing and strengthening is to keep moving. Then amazing things happen.

In these last stages of exile when we are faced with very painful things—albeit alongside clear transformative shifts—it is very important that we do not huddle down in protective mode. We must keep moving, growing, inspiring, helping, sharing, connecting.
