Rama (R. Moshe Isserlis): Rama is an acronym for "Rabbi Moshe Isserles"; c. 1530-1572, author of the Mapah, a gloss to the Shulchan Aruch that presents the Ashkenazic halachic perspective.
The Jews in Exile
