Deborah: (a) Fourth of the Judges, a prophetess who judged and taught the Israelites for forty years (1107-1067 BCE) following Ehud and Shamgar’s deaths. When the Israelites relapsed into idolatry they were subjected to the rule of the Canaanite king, Jabin, and his general, Sisera.
