Mel Landow, whose largesse helped a Chabad-Lubavitch yeshiva find a permanent home, died last week at the age of 81.

An Israeli Cabinet member visited Colel Chabad’s packing center in Ashdod as the organization finishes preparations for a massive food distribution to benefit some 120,000 people living below the poverty line.
