Sivan 28: The date on which, in 1941, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, and his wife,
Rebbetzin Chaya Mushkah, arrived safely in America, after escaping Nazi-occupied France. Shortly after his arrival, the Rebbe began his decades-long revolutionary work to revitalize Jewish life in the Western Hemisphere.
