"Can I have two volunteers please?" Debby and Naomi were chosen. Debby was told to engrave her name on the stone. Naomi was instructed to try and write her name with the feather quill and ink on parchment.
"Mom, you know I don't like green peppers – I only like red ones. Why did you pack green for me?" Sam did not look pleased. Mrs. Green was confused...
Mrs. Becker sighed. She knew her son was playing computer games, but was really supposed to be doing his homework. Mrs. Becker knew exactly what would happen.
"Dear Mom and Dad, I seem to have forgotten how much I enjoy the great outdoors! The fresh smell of pine trees, the rustling foliage, the magnificent sunsets—I could live out here forever!"
Benjy gasped in outrage, as did some of his classmates. "Mr. Benson, we can't pray before our trip! That will waste time—and we want to spend the entire day on the slopes!"
"Do you mean that G‑d will do anything I ask? Wow! That's great news! Why don't I take advantage of it, and put my requests before G‑d. In fact, I will give Him my entire wish list…"
