The "Twelve Torah Passages"
The Lubavitcher Rebbe encouraged every Jewish child to learn and recite these twelve passages that contain many fundamental themes of Judaism.
Transliteration: She-yibaneh beis hamikdash bi-m'heirah v'yameinu v'sein chelkeinu b'sorah-secha. Translation: May the Holy Temple be rebuilt speedily in our days, and grant us our portion in Your Torah.
Transliteration: Sh'ma Yis-ro-el, A-do-noi E-lo-hei-nu, A-do-noi E-chod Translation: Hear, O Israel, the L-rd is our G-d, the L-rd is One.
