This nut granola is perfect for snacking on, or adding to yogurt, ice cream, etc. Keep it on hand for breakfasts or between meals, or incorporate it into your desserts.

You can switch up the nuts to suit your preferences, but make sure to use a variety of types and textures.

  • 1 cup roasted almonds
  • 1 ½ cups shelled pistachios
  • 1 roasted, salted cashews
  • 2 cups walnuts
  • 2 cups dried coconut
  • 2-3 tbsp sugar
  • ⅔ cup dark chocolate chips

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the nuts across the baking sheet.
  3. Toast in the oven for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven, add coconut, mix, and return to the oven for another 5-6 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven again, sprinkle with sugar and chocolate chips. Return to oven until chocolate chips are just melted. Stir so that the chocolate coats the nuts. Set aside to cool. Store in an airtight container or in the freezer.
  6. Add to yogurt, cereal, ice cream, mousse, pudding, or simply snack on it plain. You can even use it as cereal, pour milk over it, and eat like that.
