Ingredients:
- ¾ cup butter or margarine
- 2 ¾ cup flour
- ½ cup confectioners sugar
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp. vanilla
Directions:
- Mix the dry ingredients.
- Add butter or margarine and mix. Add egg and vanilla and mix until dough forms a ball.
- Roll the dough and cut circles with a cookie cutter or glass.
- Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each and pinch to close.
- Bake 375°F / 190°F for 15 minutes.
Yields: 18 hamantaschen
