Ingredients:
- 1 lb. white mushrooms
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- salt
- pepper
- vegetable oil for frying
Directions:
- Peel the mushrooms and trim the stems.
- In one bowl, beat the eggs with the salt and pepper. Pour the breadcrumbs and flour into separate bowls.
- Coat each mushroom in flour, then in egg and then in breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil over medium-high heat and fry 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
