Ingredients:
- 6 mullet fillets
- 1 large onion, diced
- 6 cloves garlic, sliced
- 5 tbsp. oil
- 2 tbsp. sweet paprika
- 1 tbsp. hot paprika
- 2 cups water
- 1 hot pepper (whole)
- 3 tbsp. tomato paste
- 1 tbsp. cumin
- 1 tbsp. crushed red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
Directions:
- Heat the oil and add the onion and garlic. Sauté until onion is translucent.
- Add both types of paprika and the water, and broil to a boil.
- Add the hot pepper, cumin, tomato paste, crushed red pepper and salt. Stir until combined.
- Add the fish fillets and sprinkle with additional paprika (optional).
- Cover the pan and cook for 25-30 minutes over medium heat.
