Ingredients
- 2 pieces of bread (bread of your choice)
- Sliced cheese (cheese of your choice)
- Butter or margarine
- Ground flax seed
- Olive oil
Directions
- Spread butter or margarine on both sides of each slice of bread.
- Place sliced cheese on one side of the first slice of bread. Be generous with the cheese.
- Sprinkle a generous amount of ground flax seed over the cheese.
- Put the second slice of bread on top, closing the sandwich.
- Pour a little olive oil into a frying pan. Once the oil is warm, place the sandwich into the pan. Fry on each side until bread is browned and cheese is melted. Use a spatula to flatten the sandwich periodically while cooking. Remove from pan and serve.
- Goes well with a glass of cold almond milk.
