• 2 pieces of bread (bread of your choice)
  • Sliced cheese (cheese of your choice)
  • Butter or margarine
  • Ground flax seed
  • Olive oil


  1. Spread butter or margarine on both sides of each slice of bread.
  2. Place sliced cheese on one side of the first slice of bread. Be generous with the cheese.
  3. Sprinkle a generous amount of ground flax seed over the cheese.
  4. Put the second slice of bread on top, closing the sandwich.
  5. Pour a little olive oil into a frying pan. Once the oil is warm, place the sandwich into the pan. Fry on each side until bread is browned and cheese is melted. Use a spatula to flatten the sandwich periodically while cooking. Remove from pan and serve.
  6. Goes well with a glass of cold almond milk.
