• 2 tablespooons oil
  • 1 large clove garlic, crushed
  • A one inch slice of fresh ginger
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • salt to taste
  • 6 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoons sesame seeds


1. Heat the oil in a pressure cooker until very hot. Add the garlic and ginger and stir fry until the garlic is golden.

2. Add the broccoli and stir fry until it turns a bright green. Sprinkle with salt and transfer the broccoli to the the vegetable basket.

3. Pour the water and soy sauce into the cooker, put the basket inside and close the lid. Bring to pressure, cook for 4 minutes and use quick release method to bring down the pressure.

4. Serve with some of the cooking liquid and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
