Multitude of Nationalities at Holiday Celebrations in Thailand

Approximately 2,200 people attended Passover celebrations coordinated by Chabad-Lubavitch of Thailand earlier this month, with a majority of Israeli tourists going to Seders at the central Chabad House in Bangkok or the centers serving the resort destinations of Chiang Mai, Koh Samui and Phuket. For the remainder of the holiday, travelers found kosher for Passover food at the Chabad House’s restaurant.

Almost 400 Jewish travelers, mostly Israelis, attended Seders coordinated by Chabad-Lubavitch in the city. A group of English-speaking tourists joined American rabbinical student Levi Stein for the festive Passover meals and services.
