Exploring the Miracle of Chanukah at Macy's
December 4, 2007
For Chanukah this year, the Chabad's Jewish Children’s Museum in Brooklyn, N.Y., has partnered with Macy’s to educate children about the miracle and meaning of the eight-day Festival of Lights. The museum brought an afternoon of discovery Dec. 2 to the children’s department at the Macy’s department story in Manhasset, N.Y., complete with Chanukah crafts and a demonstration of making pure olive oil and the kindling of a menorah. Visitors to the flagship Macy’s store on 34th Street in Midtown Manhattan this coming Sunday will be treated to the program.
