Prepping for Passover in Nepal

April 17, 2014 12:33 PM
Even as Rabbi Chezky and Chani Lifshitz, co-directors of the Chabad House of Katmandu and the Chabad House of Pokhara, awaited a container that included 1 ton of matzah, 2,000 bottles of wine, 3,000 pieces of gefilte fish and other traditional Jewish foods, preparations for Passover had to be made. So volunteers—ranging from backpackers from Israel to rabbinical students from New York and around the world—joyously pitched in to help. (Photos: Chabad of Nepal)
