Tallest Menorah in Europe Reflects the ‘Best Response’ to Kristallnacht

As what is now the tallest menorah in Europe, standing at over 30 feet, was being lit in front of the Brandenburg Gate, officials from the German government and Jewish community noted that the growth of Jewish life and observance in Berlin and Germany was the most fitting response to the 75th anniversary of Kristallnacht that was commemorated this year.
