New Jewish Center Takes the Chill Out of Siberia

The Siberian Jewish community of Novosibirsk, Russia, dedicated a new Jewish community center, the first such edifice built in the 120-year history of the city.

The center, directed by Chabad-Lubavitch emissaries Rabbi Zalman and Miriam Zaklos, comprises a large synagogue, a ritual bath, a Judaic library, rooms for classes and the offices of the Jewish community.
