Sand and Water Claim Homes Throughout Long Beach

Rabbi Eli and Beila Goodman, who run the Bach Jewish Center in Long Beach, N.Y., and Chabad of the Beaches, found themselves with no home and a badly-damaged synagogue, their belongings and holy books destroyed or swept away by Hurricane Sandy’s torrents of water.

Donations for storm victims I live in Maryland but have family in long beach. I have been collecting donations of clothes, blankets etc and want to know if you need them. I am shipping boxes via UPS. Reply
