Recognizing a very special Person 2 years ago, I drove in and out several times in the parking lot of the Chabad Lubavitch in Weston, Florida and kept seeing this strange skinny bearded guy going in and out of the Shul. To say I was scared to get out of my car would be the mildest of emotions I felt, but I did and I went in and I found an unbelievable real human being, a no nonesense Rabbi who was there for people like me. Today, my husband and I are active members in his Shul, we sold our house and moved closer so that we can keep Shabbos, we koshered our house , we study with the Rabbi in small groups, and we are living the Yiddishe dream of Torah and Mitzvot and a wonderful Jewish Life. We found HaShem through a Rabbi who is totally self less, has no arrogance, non-judgemental and yet 1000% by the book. When I light my Shabbos Candles I bless HaShem for letting me find Rabbi Spalter and his family and a whole community> May HaShem bless him and all the Sluchim who do HIS WORK, so we are not LOST, Reply
