Upwards of 5,000 people from across Michigan descended on the grounds of the Meer Family Friendship Circle in West Bloomfield, sending a river of purple-clad walkers on a five kilometer trek to the local Jewish Community Center.
Upwards of 5,000 people participated in Sunday’s sixth-annual Walk4Friendship benefitting the founding chapter of the Friendship Circle, an international network of Chabad-Lubavitch run programs that pair teenage volunteers with children with special needs.
