Russian Veteran Celebrates Bar Mitzvah at 88 Years of Age

A group of elderly Jewish war veterans enjoyed a double celebration when they commemorated Victory Day at Chabad-Lubavitch of Zhitomir, Ukraine, as one of their own celebrated his Bar Mitzvah at the age of 88.

Jewish veterans of World War II come together at Chabad-Lubavitch of Zhitomir every year to celebrate Victory Day, the anniversary of the May 9, 1945 defeat of Nazi Germany by the Russian Army on the infamous Eastern Front.
