5,693rd Edition of 18th-Century Chasidic Treatise Printed in Folsom, Calif.

In advance of the 212th anniversary of the First Chabad Rebbe, Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi’s release from a Czarist prison, residents of Folsom, Calif., released the 5,693rd edition of the Tanya, the Chasidic leader’s foundational mystical work whose teachings he had to defend behind bars.
