A documentary highlighting activities at Yeshiva High School of the Twin Cities, a Chabad-Lubavitch educational institution in Cottage Grove, Minn., is in consideration for an Emmy Award given by the Upper Midwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Aired on the monthly local cable program “Cottage Grove Spotlight” on government access channels 16 and 18, the documentary represented a collaborative effort between the South Washington County Telecommunications Commission, the Cottage Grove Human Rights/Human Services Commission and the Yeshiva High School. It is one of 12 broadcasts nominated in the edited community access programming category.

“The City Council and I want to express our excitement to the South Washington County Telecommunications produces, the Yeshiva School and our Human Rights/Human Services Commission on this honorable and distinguished nomination,” said Cottage Grove Mayor Myron Bailey. “We have always felt our local cable group was top notch, and this nomination shows everyone we are right.”
