Chabad-Lubavitch Rabbi Yosef Feldman, who has led Australia's Southern Sydney Synagogue for the past 17 years, was unanimously elected president of the Rabbinical Council of New South Wales.

Feldman, 40, told The Australian Jewish News that he hopes to "lift the level of Jewish observance in the city and" New South Wales.
