Mayor Ilan Harari of the central Israeli city of Lod awarded high school senior Ora Bosi at a meeting of the local Rotary Club early this week.
Singling out Bosi, who studies at the local Chabad-Lubavitch Bnot Menachem school, Harari wished her continued success in her work, which includes passing out Shabbat candles to women and girls every Thursday afternoon.
Bosi also runs a chapter of Tzivos Hashem, the Chabad-Lubavitch youth organization, for children in downtown Lod, and assists in the care of a boy with special needs. ...
