Cheder Chabad of Monsey, a New York Jewish day school serving children from preschool age through eighth-grade, will be celebrating its 10th anniversary at the end of the month.

In advance of the gala event, the school - which, in September 1999, opened with 15 nursery school students and two teachers, and today, boasts almost 300 students spread across two campuses - announced that Dror and Shlomit Frommer, of Livingtson, N.J., will receive the Chabad-Lubavitch institution's Parents of the Year Award.

The Frommers "have been instrumental in the establishment and development of computer labs in both the boys and girls schools," Cheder Chabad's administration said in a statement. "They are there for the school in countless other ways." ...
